What is Wood Badge? Wood Badge is the ultimate leadership development program for adult leaders of the BSA. It has been recognized as one of Scouting's most advanced training program. It is a FUN and practical course designed to inspire and empower our volunteer and professional members to achieve their individual potential and to assist our organization in reaching its vision, mission and goals for young people. Wood Badge is FUN and it will help you lead with confidence!

Who is Eligible for Wood Badge? Any adult Scouter, registered with the Boy Scouts of America, who has received the basic training for his or her position in Scouting.

How Much Does it Cost? $250 Early bird price if registered and paid by January 15, 2023. Regular cost $275 if registered and paid after January 15, 2023.  A deposit of at least $50 is required at time of registration. Limited partial-fee scholarships are available based upon need through the Glacier’s Edge Council Wood Badge Association.
