Day camp is a week of outdoor fun for Cub Scouts & parents with all your favorite Cub Scout Activities: BB guns, archery, hiking, crafts, games, outdoor skills, advancement & more!

Cub Scout day camps are organized by the Longhorn Council BSA and conducted by volunteers from the local area. Day camps are for Cub Scouts entering the 1st-5th grades the following school year. Youth entering the 1st grade must be accompanied by an 'adult partner' during their participation at Day Camp.

Day camps are conducted by adult volunteer leadership who are trained and certified at one of the BSA's National Camping Schools. Adult volunteers make up the nucleus of the day camp staff by leading specific programs or managing a den of Cub Scouts throughout their time at camp. Day camps are also supported by youth staff members and Scouts serving as Den Chiefs and assisting the Cub Scouts throughout the camp.

FEES
Your fee includes a Day Camp t-shirt, patch, cap and all program supplies and materials.  A limited number of camperships are available.
Cub Scout Early Registration Fee is $105.00*
Cub Scout Late Registration Fee is $125.00.
Other Youth Early Registratuion Fee is $125.00
Other Youth Late Registration Fee is $140.00

Adult staff and chaperones volunteering every day:  $0 (No registration fee) includes a t-shirt.
Adult staff and chaperones not volunteering every day: $9 registration fee, includes a t-shirt
Youth staff: $9 registration fee, includes a t-shirt.
Tot lot participants: $20 registration fee, for program supplies. Does not include a t-shirt.

SITE FEES
A few camps are using locations that charge an additional facility use fee:

• North Richland Hills and Mid Cities Area Day Camp: $5
• Flowermound/Lewisville Area Day Camp: $5
• Fort Worth Area Day Camp: $5
   

SCHEDULES
A few camps have varying schedules from what are listed in the registration.

Lewisville and Flowermound Area Day Camp:

• Thursday - Saturday: 8 AM - 3 PM
• Sunday: 1 PM - 5 PM

Temple-Belton Area Day Camp:

• Thursday and Friday: 4 PM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM - 7 PM
• Sunday:   12 PM - 6 PM

Lake Worth and Azle Area Day Camp:

• Friday and Saturday: 9 am - 3 pm
• Sunday: 9 am - 5pm

DEADLINES

• Early registration ends 3 weeks before each camp starts.
• Late registration begins at midnight 3 weeks before each camp starts and ends at midnight 1 week before each camp starts.
• If you register within 1 week of camp starting, you must call the Day Camp Director for admission at their discretion.
