Join us for the Knightly Quest and Medieval Camporee at the Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation for a one-of-a-kind experience.  Although this is not designed as a merit badge event, Scouts will complete requirements and possibly earn up to 4 merit badges while participating in the themed activies!
This exclusive event is limited to 56 youth participants only. (First-Come, First-Serve) Registrations will close once capacity is reached. Additionally, there are only 28 adult participant spaces open.

All Scouts, in addition to the program,  will receive a Swag Bag with a limited edition Knightly Quest patch, event t-shirt, Knightly Quest Camping Bead, and more.  Adults who register will also receive Swag Bag, with patch, and a Camping Bead with the option to purchase an event t-shirt. .

All participants will be provided with cracker barrel and meals, to include a Medieval Knightly Feast on Saturday Evening.  These are not your every day camping meals!
All Scouts who register will complete requirements for various merit badges with the possibility of earning as many as four merit badges in a single weekend.

Program will consist of group acivities that consist of a multitude of different medievel adventures such as creating a family crest on canvas or a shield, an archery tournament, chess matches, art/painting/sculpting/stained glass project, hobby horse jousting and more. In addition scouts will select one of four unique tracks (Realms) that will deliver a unique, creative, and fun knightly project.  The four Realms are listed below:

Realms

  DRAKMOR Realm (Leatherworking Focus)

  • Learn the process of tanning leather/dye
  • Create and make your own leather pouch/satchel

  WINDHAVEN Realm (Fabric Making and Design Focus)

  • Fabric stamping on your personally sewn cloak
  • Sewing, handstiching and more!

  ELDERWOOD Realm (Woodworking Focus)

  • Create and make your own Woodworking project
  • Hand tools and modern equipment

  EMBERSTONE Realm (Blacksmithing Focus) 14yo+

  • Blacksmithing Project
  • You must be 14 years old and up for this realm
