DEIB Training for Citizenship In Society MB Counselor and Unit Diversity Advisor 

CST10 Diversity Lead and GNYC Board Member, Antonio del Rosario, along with other experienced trainers, Judge Efrain Alvarado, Demi Sinpolous, Tina Chen, Paul Mai from the council committee will be leading this. District Executive Nayib Altareb will be present at the training.

You will receive a GNYC Certificate of Completion as this DEIB and Counselor Training is required for all counselors for Citizenship in Society merit badge and are qualified to become a Diversity Advisor for your unit.

Space is limited - registration is required and will shut down a week before the event or once it is full.  If you are not able to attend, future training will be offered. This Eagle-required merit badge is not allowed to be taught at Summer Camps or at MB Rallies, and we need your help in helping our scouts earn this merit badge in a conducive environment.  We also need volunteers to become the Diversity Advisor for your unit making sure all unit members are welcomed and valued as per our scouting ideals.
