What is Wood Badge?
Reflecting the best of nearly a century ofScouting experience, Wood Badge draws upon the most current leadership models used by corporate America, academic circles, and successful organizations throughout the country.

Baden Powell began Wood Badge training in 1919 as a way to ensure that the leaders of Scout troops were properly trained. Since then Wood Badge has been held worldwide, providing advanced leadership training to thousands of Scout leaders.

Wood Badge builds upon the best traditions and experiences of the BoyScouts of America and also draws from a wide range of courses within and beyond the bounds of Scouting to present the latest in leadership theory and team development.

Cost

Paid-in-full registration of $300 is required by March 22, 2022. A discount of $150 is available for participants who pay in full at registration (total cost of $150) by February 22, 2022. Cost includes training materials and most meals (participants will share responsibility for providing campsite meals on the second weekend).

BRMC Wood Badge Information.

In an effort to minimize illness at camp, we ask that you and your Scout do a daily health screen for 7 days before your session starts. The camp session starts best with healthy Scouts, with good health that begins at home. You must bring completed BRSR Home Prescreening Form on Opening Day each week for each person attending.
