Wilderness Remote First Aid Training (Spring)

Wilderness First Aid Course
Wilderness First Aid is the assessment and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care by a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. The BSA requires at least one person (two preferred) per unit to be Wilderness First Aid certified for certain high-adventure camps and backcountry experiences.
Prerequisites: Minimum age 14; current certification in Adult CPR/AED training.
If you need Adult CPR/AED, a course is being held at 7:15 am; register separately.
Registration: Only two individuals from each unit will be accepted.
Schedule: The course is held from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm over two days. Lunch is not included.
