The purpose of the Trainer’s EDGE course is to provide help to develop the platform skills of a trainer. Whether you are training in your unit or in one of the advanced leadership development programs, Trainer's EDGE can help you become more confident and provide you with tools to make your training sessions more engaging. Only practice can polish these skills, but this course is intended to “train the trainer” on behaviors and resources while offering hands-on experience in methods and media.

Training Details (all sessions)

• Check-in: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
• Session Times: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Cost: $25.00 per person

Training Session Options

Session #1: Saturday, March 8

• Location: Camp Wisdom, 6400 W. Red Bird Ln. Dallas, TX 75236. (Leadership Center)
• Registration Closes: Monday, March 3 at 11:00 p.m.

Session #2: Saturday, May 10

• Location: Bobby Lyle-Billy Gamble Scouting Center, 5600 US HWY 75 South, Fairview, TX 75069
• Registration Closes: Monday, May 5 at 11:00 p.m.
  This is the deadline to register, add/update information, and complete payment. Late additions/substitutions or walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Session #3: Saturday, June 21

• Location: John D. Murchison Scouting Center, 8605 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, TX 75235
• Registration Closes: Monday, June 16, at 11:00 p.m.

Session #4: Saturday, November 15
