The 2024 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) will be held July 29 - August 3, 2024 at the University of Colorado Boulder in Boulder, CO. Come join Arrowmen from across the country as we "Seek New Heights" as we climb into the Rocky Mountains!

 

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the flagship National Order of the Arrow event. It is held every two years at a major university campus and is attended by as many as 8,000 Arrowmen from all 50 states. It is second only to the BSA National Jamboree in size and scope. When our contingent steps onto campus, we will be joining a growing spirit of Scouting pervading Boulder. Soon after, the opening show will fill shoulder to shoulder with Arrowmen from across the country as we celebrate the Order of the Arrow.

How Much:

  • The total cost (NOAC fee & Muscogee Delegate Fee) is anticipated to be $1250. Fundraising opportunties will be utilized to offset the overall cost for delegates. The cost may slightly fluctuate (+/-) depending on fundraising efforts and the total number of participants (shared costs).
  • Payment Plan: Arrowmen, at a minimum, must complete the payment plan that allows final payment to be made no later than July 1, 2024.
  • NOAC Fee: This fee covers a promotion patch (delivered after receiving the paid deposit), conference patch (provided upon arrival at NOAC), residence hall housing, meals starting with Monday dinner and ending with Saturday breakfast, credentials and other program materials.
  • Lodge Delegate Fee: This fee includes transporation from South Carolina (air & bus), lodge delegate patches, t-shirts, drawstring bag, and spirit items.
  • Financial Assistance: It is our aim to ensure that every eligible youth delegate who is interested in attending the conference can do so, regardless of financial background. Assistance opportunities exist at both the national and lodge level. Youth delegates requesting financial assistance must apply for the NOAC Trailblazer Scholarship Fund by January 31, 2024 through the NOAC Portal. The lodge may also provide financial assistance through the Lodge Portal. If you have questions regarding financial assistance, contact The Muscogee Lodge Financial Assistance Team. Financial assistance generally provides a subsistance of up to 50% of the delegate cost.
  • Refunds: Requests for refunds must be made prior to January 15, 2024. Payments made prior to this date will be refunded less $150 that is required to fulfill transportation contracts. A request for refund after January 15, 2024 is pending the reassignment of the delegate slot to another Arrowman.

 

When to Come:

  • Group transportation will be arranged for the lodge delegation and is included in the fee.
  • Bus travel will be provided from several hubs throughout the lodge service area.
  • Air travel will be from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
  • Details will be provided to delegates closer to the departure date.

 

Important Details:

  • Provide a current, complete, and signed BSA Medical Form (Part A1, B1, B2, and C) – Must be completed by certified and licensed physicians (MD, DO), nurse practitioners, or physician assistants. A BSA Medical Form is valid for 12 months from the date it was signed. If in doubt, complete a new one or email the medical team at medical@muscogeelodge.org.
  • A BSA Activity Consent Form and Approval by Parents or Legal Guardian Form is required for all participants under 18 years of age.

  • Memorabilia items may be purchased as part of registration or through the online lodge store. All pre-orders must be placed by March 1, 2024.

Registration Notes:

  • OA event registrations require the use of your BSA Member ID. If you are unsure of your number, please visit my.Scouting or the OA Member Portal.
  • NOTICE: All participants are required to maintain current BSA registration to participate in OA Events. In addition, adults (age 18 and older) are required to maintain current Youth Protection Training (YPT). Using your unique BSA Member ID allows us to synchronize BSA and OA (LodgeMaster) membership databases. This allows us to verify BSA registration and YPT to better service the lodge and ensure participants are covered under BSA insurance.

    • The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is an experience unlike any other in the Order of the Arrow, and Scouting in general, with innovative training opportunities in the morning, large-scale activities in the afternoon, and professionally produced evening shows! It is the Scouting event of the year spanning a week at a hosting university campus. This NOAC, thousands of Arrowmen will climb into the Rocky Mountains to the campus of the University of Colorado Boulder from July 29 to August 3, 2024, and we want YOU to join us as we Seek New Heights!
  • How do we have FUN at NOAC?
    • NOAC has a ton of different things to do across the week. In the past, there has been a helicopter landing, competitions ranging from ceremonies to a triathlon, patch trading, a conference-wide festival and much more. Exciting activities have ranged from elaborate escape rooms to national basketball competitions, golf excursions, and even professionally produced 5K and triathlon events! However, we have unorganized fun at NOAC as well. Constantly at NOAC Arrowmen from across the country meet, befriend each other and trade both collectible patches and ideas
  • How can I gain useful skills at NOAC?
    • NOAC offers a variety of training opportunities to learn more about leadership, ceremonies, inductions, professional skills, sustainability, and more! These training sessions are developed by talented facilitators and are designed specifically to expand your ability to thrive as an Arrowman, leader and person. They expand your ability to serve your lodge, community and self.
  • What about these evening shows?
    • Almost every evening, the entire conference will gather in the largest indoor venue offered by the hosting university for a professionally produced show! NOAC shows hold a high production value with the power to instill the NOAC theme, inspire new leaders in the OA and provide an engaging experience for all attendees. They are the pinnacle event of each night that displays the scale of our membership and highlights many of the skills and talents within the Order of the Arrow.
