2022 Air Carnival

Event Details

Overall Weekend Schedule:

Every Patrol Leader must be at the Friday Night registration, which is at 9:30PM at the Goodman Pavilion. There will also be a Scoutmaster meeting on the Porch of Head Quarters at 9:30PM. Trader Bills will be open from 8:00pm-9:00pm Friday and 5:00-6:00pm Saturday for all your Candy, Snack and Soda needs.

COPE Saturday Activities, at 9:00am all patrols will assemble at the COPE course, they will meet at the main entrance gate located on camp road. These events will run in two different time slots from 9:30am-Noon and then 1:00pm-5:00pm. At night 7:00pm-9:00pm we will have a special round of events for our patrol leaders and crown the winning patrol.

Some Day Events may include:

Mountain Biking, Teambuilding, Crate Stacking, Rope Climbing, Basketball Free Throw Event, Bouldering, Mountain Boarding, Speed Climbing, Hang In There, Puzzles, 8 Climbing Knot Relay,

 

This is a Patrol Competition and will be scored based on the patrol’s scout skills, these include but are not limited to Speed, Strength, Skill, Memory, Identification, Critical thinking, problem solving and Knots. Every event is scored out of 10 points, and an overall 1st 2nd and 3rd place patrol will be awarded.

Info for Adult Leaders:

Leaders are encouraged to assist with events, we will need help from each unit, there will be a sign-up for events Friday night at scoutmaster meeting.
Keep in mind that this is an all-day event, scouts should do a quick lunch and quick dinner to make sure they are at the course at the proper time.
Units must bring with then a roster of participants to be turned in upon check-in, also all medicals must be on hand and turned into our medical officer on Saturday during the event at COPE.

 

Check-in times:

Units Arriving Friday: (Preferred)

Scoutmaster/Unit Leader upon arrival go to HQ to check in with the camp-master with all required paperwork.

(Troop Roster, Medical Forms, Patrol Names)

9:30pm we will be having a patrol leader and SPL meeting in Goodman Pavilion.
Also at 9:30pm we will be having a Scout Master meeting on Head Quarters Porch.

Units Arriving Saturday: (Acceptable)

Scoutmaster/Unit Leader upon arrival go to HQ to check in with the camp-master with all required paperwork.

(Troop Roster, Medical Forms, Patrol Names)

8:00am-9:00 am check in by patrol at Head Quarters for units arriving Saturday
