This is a two-part training conference designed for new and experienced adult Scouters.

The Fundamentals of Training part will introduce newer Scouters to teaching techniques and skills, but it will also help freshen up the training practices of experienced Scouters.

The Trainer’s EDGE part will give both new and experienced participants the opportunity to improve their skills and learn newer presentation techniques. Participants will be coached and mentored by experienced trainers who will provide constructive feedback which will help participants become comfortable with and confident in their training skills. The training techniques you learn will help you with your Scouting program as well as in your everyday profession.

These two courses are required for Wood Badge staff members.

Participants must prepare and bring a 10-minute presentation, flipchart or Power Point,
on a topic from any BSA material of your choice. Flip chart stand/projector will be provided.

Bring: Pen & items needed for your presentation and a desire to improve your skills.
