Camp Wheeler is for campers going into 2nd through 5th grade. Located on the 1,000 acre Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation in Stanhope NJ, Camp Wheeler has been providing a high quality Cub Scout day camp program for over thirty-five years.  Bus transportation is provided from locations throughout Morris, Sussex and NW Somerset counties.

Camp operates for six weeks from July 2nd through Aug 10th, 2018. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:45 am - 4:15 pm. Come for one or more weeks!  We offer an action packed day with lots of fun and some learning too. Camp Wheeler stresses Scouting values and provides a fun and safe summer program for campers. Our experienced staff are all youth protection trained and include many teachers and college students majoring in education. We maintain a staff to camper ratio of 1:5 or better.

Join "King Dan" and his court for a Medieval Quest. All of your favorite programs are back and we will have a few surprises too.

Orientation - Camp orientation takes place June 28th, and July 3rd and 10th. Orientation is not required, but is recomended for new and returning campers. Please bring all signed and completed forms so your camper can complete their swim check.

STEM Week - August 6-10 - All of Camp Wheeler's great programs will incorporate Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics activities in a fun and interactive way. We will also have some special STEM week programs too!

Advancement Opportunities - In addition to all of the summer fun, camp is a place where Cub Scouts can work on advancement requirements for their next rank.

Our new Wildflower Day Camp is held at Camp Wheeler at the same time and location as our Cub Scout day camp. Girls participate in summer camp activities customized for the Wildflower camp. The girls travel in groups to our varied program areas including fishing, archery, cooking, climbing and pool for cooling off on a hot day. Wildflower Day Camp is the perfect camp for siblings of Cub Scouts attending Camp Wheeler Cub Scout Day Camp as well as any girls entering grades 2-5 in the fall.
