Make your troop leader job EASIER and MORE FUN!  An enthusiastic, trained leader can make the difference between a troop that is struggling, and one that is ready to take on the world! This course will show both new and experienced troop leaders how to apply proven techniques for running an effective Scouts BSA troop.

This is required training for all Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters.

Hazardous Weather Training – Effective April 30, 2018, leaders must complete Hazardous Weather Training to be considered position trained.

There is no registration cost for this course, however registration is required.  No walk-ins are allowed without advance permission of the course director.

What will I learn?

Participants will learn how to meet the Aims of Scouting by applying the 8 Methods of the Scouts BSA Program.

• Annual Planning

What should I bring?
Proof of current, completed Safeguarding Youth Protection Training
Pen or pencil and paper for notes.
Wear your class A uniform if possible.
