Climbing Weekend at Quarry Park!

Merit Badge June 22

Instructor Training for ages 16 and over:

Friday and Saturday from 8:00- 5:00, June 20-21 for new instructors, with applied skills teaching Merit Badge Sunday, June 22, 8 am -5 pm

June 20-22 for renewing instructors

Adults: $60, Youth ages 16-17: $50

Merit Badge Day for Scouts, BSA, and Venturers ages 13 and up:

Sunday, June 22, check-in begins at 9:00am

Leadership must be provided!

Fee: $40 includes the use of climbing equipment!

Who: Open to Scout BSA youth age 13 and older. No prior experience necessary. 

MAXIMUM of 12 participants. 

Registration due by June 14, 2025.

check in at 9:00am in the parking lot with session from 9:30am to 5pm.

AT LEAST ONE ADULT IS REQUIRED FROM THE UNIT TO BE WITH THE YOUTH 

What to Bring:                                                                  

• Climbing Merit Badge Pamphlet
• Annual health forms. Include any accessibility needs or special health needs.
• Youth participants must include a parent-signed consent part of the medical form.
• Wear comfortable “moveable” but NOT loose or baggy clothing.
• Rain gear, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.
• A bag lunch.
