"Norseland Knights - The Quest for the Holey Nalgene"  Spring Camp-o-ree

Courage! Honor! Bravery! Words that echo the Scout Oath - words that echo through history into the hearts of Scouts. Let your ears ring with the chant of heroes and join the Quest for the Holey Nalgene this spring at Norseland Scout Camp. Explore the night sky’s mysteries - peer deeply into the heart of a blacksmith’s fire - all while preparing yourself for partaking in the Quest for the Holey Nalgene.

You will face many trials on your quest—battling the Dark Knight on the waters of Sand Lake, attempting to cross the Monkey Bridge of Infinite Peril, and testing your warrior’s might with throwing knives, axes and bows.  There will be pioneering galore, range events aplenty, and swim trunks will be required for some.

Will you be brave enough to overcome the walls (and taunting) of Fort Norseland? Are you able to summon your courage to endure the Boudica Memorial Chariot Race? Can you avoid the danger of the Knights Who Say Ni? Can your patrol collect the clues and decipher their messages in time to be the ones to find the Holey Nalgene first?

Find out on May 16th to May 18th, 2024 at Norseland Scout Camp and join the scout heroes whose names the bards will sing forever around the campfires!

This spring camp-o-ree will challenge the inner-hero in all Scouts.  Friday, May 16th, 5pm - Sunday, May 18th, 8am at Norseland Scout Camp, Scouts will be faced with many tasks that will test their skills and their bravery while seeking the clues to their goal - the Holey Nalgene.  

Troop should plan on camping Friday and Saturday nights.  Saturday lunch is provided, all other meals are the responsibility of the troop.  Be sure to invite the current Webelos (current 4th grade) and their parent (required) to join your troop for the day.  Webelos are welcome to participate in the age appropriate events but are not allowed to spend the night.  

All person on property must have Health Form AB.
