MCC 2021 Cub Scout Day Camp

Event Details

We are thrilled to be able to offer
Cub Scout Day Camp in person this year!

Program
Cub Scout Day Camp is available for registered Cub Scouts going into 1st through 5th grade this fall. Due to Covid-19 we will not be offering sibling registrations, tot lots or walkin registrations for the summer of 2021. Face coverings (masks) will be required for all participants.

Activities vary by location, but all locations will offer crafts, archery, BB shooting, sling shots and more! The theme for each camp is WEIRD SCIENCE. Pricing varies by camp due to expenses related to individual locations/programs. This fee includes a patch, t-shirt and expenses related to consumable program supplies used at camp (craft supplies, ammunition, targets, etc.)

Adult Attendance
All Packs attending must have a 2:8 ratio of youth to adults. It is strongly preferred that the same adults attend each day to reduce the number of people coming and going from camp. Adults are needed to chaperone their group of Scouts and sometimes might be asked to help in program areas. There is no fee for adults however all adults must register and submit the required medical and waiver forms. Adults have the option to purchase extra t-shirts ($10) and patches ($3) upon registrations.

Food and Beverage
Food is not provided at any of our day camp programs. All attendees should be prepared to bring their own lunches/water and make accommodations for safe keeping (such as in your backpack). In past years, some camps provided coolers for storing lunches but due to COVID-19 we will not be providing shared space for storing items, you may do so however within your pack if you find it necessary.

Due to current restrictions no reusable containers (where the container is refilled) will be used in any of our camping programs (such as camp water bottles) as we have in the past. We strongly encourage attendees to bring bottled water as communal water sources that we formerly relied on for refills will not be allowed.

Daily Camp Check-in
You will receive check-in instructions, which include daily temperature checks, prior to your camp week directly from your camp director since every location has different logistics. It will be very important to follow these instructions to reduce any potential risks.

Required forms
The following forms are required upon camp check-in and cannot be submitted electronically due to the private information enclosed. All forms will be returned back to your pack at the end of your camp week except for the Unit Checklist which must be held on record.

Forms listed Individually:

For All above YOUTH forms required in one writeable PDF click HERE (this will be easier to send to parents!)

Camp Coordinators: Use this Unit Checklist to make sure all your attendees have everything!

Each morning your assigned cohort will be required to submit a Daily Health Screening form as a group
