Hosted by Troop 5, Winner of the 2014 and 2018 Klondike Derby!
Entry Fee* $15.00 per Scout, $8.00 per Scout Staff, $6.00 per Adult
*Entry Fee covers facility rental, awards and lunch
Lunch: Each participant should bring 1 can of non-cream, non-seafood-based soup for "Booya soup". Hot bread and hot beverages will be served with soup. Troops may bring additional lunch items, if desired. ***a Scout is conservation-minded: Please bring mess kit and reusable cup.***
Klondike Race: Each patrol will race their Klondike sled through select stations.Proficiency, team-work and being prepared (hint, hint, be sure to read leader guide)...will lead you to victory, capturing bragging rights for the 2019 Klondike Derby.
Need a Klondike Sled? Contact Jenny of the district Activities Committee (contact below) to acquire sled skis and building instructions.
This is an outdoor event! Dress for the expected weather! Scouts must be prepared to stay out in the cold weather all day.
