The Veterans Administration (VA) hosts Wheelchair Games every summer, and in July 17-22, 2025, these games will be held in the Twin Cities. The VA is in need of about 3,000 volunteers to help with over 20 activities offered for those who are in wheelchairs. We are hoping that some of our adult volunteers, Older Scouts, Venturers and Explorers will volunteer some time to helping at these events. Typical help needed includes: set up and take down, opening and closing ceremonies, and events such as archery, basketball, cycling, fishing shooting sports, swimming, and many more.

Volunteer dates, times, locations, and roles will be assigned by the Veterans Admistration, the hosting organization.  

This is a great opportunity for troops and crews who have an American Legion or a VFW as their charter partner to have community service hours connected to another Veterans Service Organization.
