Stearns Scout Camp

Prepare to meet advancement requirements and reduce impacts on camp-outs and high adventure treks. This course is for adults and youth at least age 14 by start of course. Participants are to follow council COVID requirements such as health checks prior to attending, social distancing and use of masks.

Recommended for ALL Scouts, Ventures, Sea Scouts and Scouters over age 14.

Course Information: Learning occurs via 1 online Zoom session and 2 in person days at Stearns Scout Camp.

            Zoom session will be held Wednesday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m..

            In Person sessions, Saturday June 12 start at 8:00 a.m., includes an overnight ends Sunday June 13 at 11:30 a.m.

Registration $45. Includes mandatory pre session, facility, camping fees, materials, Saturday pm snack, Bigfoot Playbook and Trainer strip.

Equipment:This is an Outdoor Event! You will need personal gear for a standard weekend of camping: small tent, sleeping bag, pad, food for 3 meals (lunch, supper, breakfast), mess kit, cooking supplies, rain gear, water bottle, small pack for your teaching supplies.

Be prepared for changing weather.... Did I say BRING RAIN GEAR?
