Dear Friends of Scouting,

We at the Pine Tree Council hope you and those close to you continue to Stay Safe and Healthy. We are ever so grateful for your ongoing interest, concern and support for the youth and families served by Scouting and the programs we offer.

During this COVID-19 pandemic Scouting has proven that it is strong and needed in our communities. Scouts completed countless hours of service projects to collect PPE for front liners and Scouting for Food to help our neighbors in need as well as many other Good Turns. We have adapted to the new environment and offered online and in-person activities for all our families. We promise we will continue to develop new programs to excite your Scout and their friends on their Scouting Adventure throughout 2021. Last year we were able to completely upgrade our sailing program through the generosity of our supporters!

Pine Tree Council will continue to enthusiastically meet new challenges head on, offering quality programming and services to the communities we serve. Our Council has continued to maintain our camping properties in eager anticipation of the 2021 summer camping season. We are excited to offer an AWESOME program for Scouts this summer.

WE need YOUR HELP to continue to maintain our camps and offer innovative programming.
With over 35% of our budget depending on Family Friends of Scouting presentations and units not able to meet during these COVID times we are reaching out to you for your help. With your financial support Pine Tree Council will be able to provide your Scout with the character and leadership programs that develop productive, responsible and caring members of our community.

If you have already contributed to this campaign we thank you.

Funds raised from the Friends of Scouting campaign stay within our council and enable us to provide full-time professionals and support staff to serve our units and to recruit new families to Scouting. These funds also enable us to make available membership recruitment materials for all units, provide leader training and maintain four council camps for all to enjoy; youth, volunteer leaders and families. While all registration and charter fees go to our National council, all donated funds given locally-stay locally.
