2020 Spring Outdoor Ethics Training

Event Details

Leave No Trace strives to educate all those who enjoy the outdoors about the nature of their recreational impacts, as well as techniques to prevent and minimize such impacts. Leave No Trace is best understood as an educational and ethical program, not as a set of rules and regulations.

This training will prepare those attending to present LNT Awareness sessions for their units and help them to understand the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace as well as Tread Lightly. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the LNT Principles as they set up and camp and as well as practice presentation skills.
