100th Anniversary of Wood Badge

The critters are headed to Gilwell Field for a special celebration of the 100th anniversary of Wood Badge around the world! Come join the fun, and help the Wood Badge Association support scholarships for future courses.  

Festivities begin for Wood Badge trained adults on Friday at 6 pm with round robin games, a campfire program, and a movie. The fun continues on Saturday morning with a parade of patrols, Gilwell Field Assembly, Scout’s Own service, and Rocket Competition. A celebratory Anniversary Brunch concludes the event. 

Participants are welcome and encouraged to stay overnight in their own tent or in a cabin bunk, for a small additional fee.

The brunch from 10:30 am to noon on Saturday is open to all adult Scouters – Wood Badge trained or not! This is a great place to catch the spirit of Wood Badge and get information about 2020 courses.

What to Bring:

• Critter pride – memories from your course
• Cash or check for scholarship fund-raising competition between critters
• Cash, check, or credit card for Wood Badge trading post
• Personal tent and gear if camping overnight or personal gear if staying in cabin overnight
• Part A/B BSA Health Form if staying overnight
