Friday Check-in: 5-6 pm, Saturday Check-out: 4 pm
PROGRAM
This year’s program is designed to introduce the boy and his parent to the camping program by taking advantage of an opportunity to experience the outdoors at a Boy Scout Camp. The Webelos programs are designed to help enhance the boys and parents experience as they prepare to transition to the Boy Scouts.
CAMP FEES
Cost is $30.00 per Webelos/Arrow of Light and $30.00 per Parent/Adult participant until Saturday, November 4, 2017. Camp fees include meals, patch and general program materials. Cost will increase to $35.00 after November 4. Meals are served in our dining lodge. Dinner and cracker barrel will be served Friday. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday.
LEADERSHIP POLICY
National policy for Cub Scout camping requires a 1:1 ratio of Scout to parent. Therefore, each Webelos attending Camp Pupukea must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. In the event that a parent has more than one Scout attending the campout, a 2:1 Scout to parent ratio is acceptable. At least one adult must be at least 21 years of age and can be male or female. They are expected to keep order among the Scouts in the campsite and give direction to their movement from one area to another as the schedule permits. You are to ensure there is adult supervision at all times.
It is required that all adults in attendance have Youth Protection Training. It’s also a good idea for adults in attendance to be trained Boy Scout volunteers. Training is available online at: http://www.MyScouting.org
