Celebrating 100 years of Scouting in Orange County

The Orange County Council is please to host the 100th Anniversary MERIT Gala on Saturday evening, September 26, 2020 at Hotel Irvine. This will be the biggest OCBSA event of the year, attracting over 600 Orange County residents, business leaders and Scouting supporters for an evening of Scouting tradition and gala festivities. 

The Orange County Boy Scouts of America is pleased to host the 100th Anniversary MERIT Gala on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Hotel Irvine. This will be the biggest OCBSA event of the year, attracting over 600 Orange County residents, business leaders, and Scouting supporters for an evening of Scouting tradition and gala festivities.

Orange County's four high-adventure properties serve over 50,000 diverse  youth in our community each year. For over 100 years, Scouting has developed future leaders and innovators by combining fun and educational programming, lifelong values, and  adventure in the outdoors.

As OCBSA embarks into it's next 100 years, we look to fundraising to meet our growing demands. Securing underwriting, sponsorships and auction items is critical to the MERIT Gala’s revenue goal of $1 million. As the MERIT Gala’s sponsors and donors are investing in Orange County’s youth, our community's  future leaders, we thank you for your consideration to join our efforts.
