EVENT DESCRIPTION

Join us for a Lunar New Year–inspired evening of celebration as we honor the Scouters who drive Scouting forward in the Rancho San Joaquin District. In the spirit of the Year of the Horse—symbolizing energy, leadership, and momentum—we’ll enjoy great food, great company, and meaningful recognition as we celebrate our District Award of Merit recipients, Leaders of the Year, and Unit Exceptional Scouters.

Together, we’ll reflect on an incredible year, connect with fellow Scouters, and kick off 2026 with purpose, optimism, and forward motion.

Dress Code: Scout uniform, or welcome the New Year by wearing bright, festive, and auspicious colors (especially red and gold) that reflect the optimism and momentum of the Year of the Horse.

Families welcome: Please invite your honored award recipients and their families to join this fun and memorable evening.

Together, let us welcome a new year defined by forward motion, strong leadership, and shared purpose—honoring those who inspire our Scouting community while staying grounded in the values of stewardship, sustainability, and service that carry us confidently into the year ahead.
