NYLT Summer 2023 at Trask

Event Details

June 16-18 and June 30-July 2 (both weekends required)

Participant fee: $295 in council,  $345 out of council

Staff fee: $125 (paid after selected)

Participant requirements:

-Must be a registered member of a Scouting Unit

-Must have a current BSA Health and Medical Forms Part A B & C

-Participants must be at least 13 years of age------Crew and Ship scouts must be 14 years of age or 13 and completed eighth grade, but fall within the maximum age for their program of registration.

-They must be a First Class Scout and completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for their Troops, Crew, or Ship (ILST, ILSC, or ILSS).

-Recommended they have one year of camping experience. NYLT is not an outdoor skills course, it is important that each participant have basic camping and outdoor cooking experience. Participants will need to bring their own tents.

-Have a unit leader recommendation (linked on the registration site) that will be emailed to course director.

-Participants and their parents must abide by any current county, city, and GLAAC health/covid guidelines.
