Cub Scout Shooting Sports Day

Join us for a Cub Scout Shooting Sports Day, offering Cub Scouts the ability to experience Archery, BB Gun shooting, Slingshot shooting, and even some time for horseshoes! 

All participants will have the opportunity to earn a Cub Scout rank-level patch AND a discipline device (pin). Cub Scouts can sign up for 1-3 classes, based on their interest. 

This event is open to Tigers to Arrow of Light Scouts. Lions are not permitted to attend this event.

Date and Times

• March 9, 2024
• There are two sessions, offering the same shooting sports. Scouts should only sign up for the Morning or Afternoon session, not both. 
  • Morning Session - 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Afternoon Session - 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Cost

• Scouts: $30 each, regardless of the number of classes they choose to participate in.
• Adults: $10 each. One parent/guardian per family is required to attend with their scout(s).
• Only Cub Scouts registered for this event may attend, no un-registered siblings.

Class Descriptions and Schedule

• Archery and BB are 90 minutes each. Slingshot and Horseshoes are combined into one 90 minute class period.

Signing Up for Classes

• Each scout may sign up for a maximum of 3 classes: Archery, Slingshot & Horseshoes, and a BB class. 
  • Note: The BB Class is separated by rank. You must select the correct session for your scout's rank in your scout's registration form before you select classes.
• In the scout's registration form, click the "Schedule Classes" button.
• Click the class from the right side to add it to the schedule on the left. (You can click the Show Class Schedule button to confirm your selections.)
• Complete the scout's registration form and click the Done button at the bottom right.

Required Forms

• Shooting Sports Authorization Form: You must bring one completed form for each youth in your group.
• Medical Form Parts A and B: You must bring one completed form for each person in your group, including adults.
