Let's Go On Safari!

Get ready for an exciting jungle expedition for the entire family at R-C Scout Ranch!  Safari Camp is open to all family members - youth, siblings, parents, grandparents and relatives. Your family can explore Safari Camp and experience fun and interactive activities. We will offer exciting activities including archery, BB guns, slingshots, games, and much more. See the Parent's Guide and Activity Guide in the attachments. 

We have a variety of lodging options available for families: rustic tents, family tents, and cabins. We will also have the R-C Trading Post with snacks, fun items and Family Camp t-shirts. 

Summer Sessions
We offer three fun-filled sessions - 3 days of activities, 2 nights of camping and 7 meals.

o   Expedition 1 – Weekend Session | June 6 - June 8, 2025 (Sold Out!)

o   Expedition 2 – Weekday Session | June 10 - June 12, 2025 (Discounted option)

o   Expedition 3 – Weekend Session | June 13 - 15, 2025

All youth must be accompanied by a parent or an adult family member (at least 21 years old) at all times. Young children are also welcome to attend with their families. There will be a Tot Lot available for younger children, who are potty trained, to have hands-on activity time while parents and older siblings attend activities during the day.

Camp Fees can be paid in installments. The final balance is due on May 7th.

Camp Safari is all about the jungle:

• Visit our jungle theme dining hall.
• Swinging Monkeys - Help the baby monkeys swing then make a paracord bracelet.
• Art Hut - Work on a simple leather project and work up to more challenging projects.  Or if you are ready, tackle that big project right away!
• Treehouse - Visit the ramada converted into a treehouse and covered in leaves! We have stocked the treehouse with an incredible amount of craft items to build your own unique creation or gift! Let your imagination run wild!
• Game Hut - Play 10 different games and then create your very own keychain!
• Campfire Skills - Have fun learning from our Campfire Directors all about campfire skills and practice those skills.  Practice animal sounds, playing the drums and being in a skit. At the end, entertain your parents with our very own jungle skit.
• Animal Rescue - Rescue the animals and have some surprises along the way!
• Shooting Range - In a safe environment, have fun shooting bb guns and slingshots. For our youngest jungle kids, we have a nerf gun range.
• Crawdad Hunting - Always a favorite, hunt crawdads in Christopher Creek.
• Jungle Course - Parachute to the jungle, cross the lagoon, go through the amazon forest, fearlessly cross quicksand and scoot through the village. Then make your very own souvenir of quicksand!
• Archery Range - In a safe environment, have fun with archery and for our littlest jungle kids, we have a dart board!
• Family Pictures - Bring your camera and take your family's picture with the Safari Camp sign and in the "Animal" sign - be a lion, zebra or monkey
• Elusive Bouncy Ball Competition - Can you guess how many elusive bouncy balls are in the jar?
• Christmas in June Service Project - Decorate Christmas cards for our U.S. Soldiers. The cards will be collected and mailed to the soldiers in December.
