Prerequisites:  Review the Merit Badge workbook PDF and bring it to the clinic with 1. a-c, 2, 5. a-e, 7. a-b completed.

Merit Badge Completion:  Partial completion

Fees:  $0

Additional Information:  Essential/basic equipment/gear that Scouts need to bring are described in the prerequisites that need to be completed in full when Scouts arrive at the clinic. In summary, each Scout needs to bring equipment/gear that he would pack if indeed he was actually going on a 3-day camp out during winter. Equipment/gear for a 3-day, winter camp out includes: 

a. sleeping bag/bedding

b. tent

c. ten gear essentials for camping (see Scout Handbook or BSA website(s); Hint: Goggle search = scouts ten gear essentials)

d. cooking system/burners (if have one; if system uses liquid fuel, do not have liquid fuel in the system)

e. footwear/clothing for 3 days

f. topo map of mountainous area (printed on 8.5" x 11" regular paper; location makes no difference)

 

If your scout is unable to attend please cancel his registration online to open a space for those on the waiting list.
