NYLT is a week-long leadership training program for youth in Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Sea Scouts.  The course delivers high quality skill instruction in a fun outdoor environment using the patrol method of Scouting.  NYLT training benefits units by enhancing the leadership skills of its members and benefits Scouts by empowering them to be more effective in their leadership style and performance.

Scouts must be 13 years of age at the time the course starts, First Class rank or higher, and submit a Letter of Recommendation from their Unit Leader.
